Our company purchases portfolios of consumer debt from debt brokers as well as directly from banks and finance companies. We then work with the debtor to set up a payment plan that will allow them to pay the debt off. We can reduce the balance due; stop interest, penalties and fees; accept a discounted single payment or series of payments over three months or less; or work with the debtor to come up with a monthly payment that fits their budget. Our goal is to get the debt paid off as quickly as possible but within the debtor's ability to pay.
Payment reminders are sent by email (preferred method) or by postal service (if debtor doesn't have email). Online payments can be made
securely through
paypal.com. Making payments is convenient and secure. We will send payment requests (as we have agreed with the debtor) through paypal.com with a direct link to make a payment to us from the debtor's bank account or using a debit or credit card. Account numbers are hidden from us. A paypal.com account isn't needed to make payments to us and there is no fee for using paypal.com to make such payments. If the debtor doesn't have email or online access or at their request we will mail a self addressed envelope with the payment reminder making it convenient to enclose and mail the payment check back to us.
Provided the debtor keeps their promises and makes payments on time as agreed with us, we will provide a letter showing the account "paid as agreed" with a zero balance that can be mailed to the credit bureaus. This will provide a positive item on the credit reports potentially helping to increase their credit scores. We also help people with sources of information on credit education and how they can challenge errors on their report and improving their credit. Check out our section titled, "
